רְטִיָּיה

רְטִיָּה, רְטִיָּיהf. (רָטָה) emollient, plaster, compress. Ex. R. s. 26 אין מידתי … מכה באזמל ומרפא בר׳וכ׳ my (Gods) way is not like the way of man (surgeon), who wounds with a knife and heals with a plaster, but I ; ib. 50; Lev. R. s. 18, end; Mekh.
